I'm not sure why this is even a problem why can't the downloads be in one easy to access location if you're looking to manually download it rather than have the super-intelligent server decide for you? Also, I feel like people who are manually downloading the Windows version of iTunes are going to know which operating system they want, and if it downloads the 64 bit version automatically, it's not going to be confusing. I even tried spoofing my User-Agent string with a Chrome extension to trick the download page.

My computer was like, "This isn't for your computer, moron." And I was like, "Jeez, PC, you're the one who doesn't know how to tether internet from my phone." And he was like, "Touché." (The actual error is, "This app can't run on your PC.") I also tried downloading and installing an old version of iTunes.

Problem there is that once I click, "Download," it takes me back to the same feedback loop of, "YOU CAN NEVER DOWNLOAD THE WINDOWS 64 BIT VERSION FROM YOUR MAC YOU FOOL." Next I tried going to Google and searching, "download itunes 12.6.1 windows 10 64 bit," and found a page that seemed promising. I scroll down to, "Get iTunes for Windows," and it's the same exact problem the page serves me the 32-bit version and I have to go to a page that apparently doesn't exist to get the 64-bit version. I go to the link, which is obviously the same exact page with a different URL pointing to it, and it gives me the OS X version automatically again. Then I have to scan through the irritatingly narrow information on the page to find that, if I want the 64-bit version, I have to navigate from the page I'm on, to in order to get the 64-bit version. I go to download iTunes, and it automatically assumes I want the OSX version, which is annoying enough as it is, but then I click, "Get iTunes for Windows," and it's like, "HERE YOU GO!" And it gives me the 32-bit version. I am hotspotting my phone for my Mac (which indeed has a network card). It has no network card, so it has to use tethering from devices to connect to the internet.
